Privacy Policy

Last updated September 15, 2026

This is a general policy written in plain English and provided for convenience. It is not legal advice.

The short version

Curiosity Class is a one-person podcast, and this site is built to match. There are no accounts, no logins and no comment sections. The only personal information I ever ask you for is an email address, and only if you want the weekly email.

The newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, I store your email address for exactly one purpose: sending you an email when a new episode goes live, about once a week.

I don't sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone else for their own use. It lives with the email service that sends the newsletter and nowhere else.

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list. You can also email me at hello@curiosityclass.co and I'll delete your address entirely.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate: which pages get read, what referred you here, and roughly what part of the world you're in. I look at it to see which episodes actually land.

It sets no cookies, it isn't tied to your name or your email, and it doesn't follow you across other websites. There are no individual visitors in it for me to look at — only totals.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. As with any web host, their servers keep standard request logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested — for security and reliability. I don't use those logs to track anyone.

Other platforms

Episodes play on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube, and show notes link out to books, articles and guests' own sites. The moment you follow one of those links you're on someone else's property, and their privacy policy applies instead of this one.

Those platforms collect their own listening data. I only ever see the aggregate numbers they choose to show me — never who you are.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of the page. Nothing here is retroactive: a change applies from the day it's posted.
