Terms of Service

Last updated September 15, 2026

This is a general policy written in plain English and provided for convenience. It is not legal advice.

The short version

This is a personal podcast website. Listen to it, read it, send it to people. Just don't pass my work off as your own. That's most of it.

Using the site

The episodes, show notes, transcripts and writing here are mine, and they're for your personal, non-commercial use.

You're very welcome to link to any of it, quote from it with credit, and share episodes wherever you like. What I'd ask you not to do is republish whole episodes or transcripts as your own work, or sell them.

What the episodes are, and aren't

Episodes are conversations, not advice. I talk about money, health, technology and plenty else with guests who usually know far more than I do, but nothing here is financial, medical, legal or professional advice, and neither I nor my guests are your advisor. Guests' opinions are their own.

Transcripts are published as the words were actually spoken, formatted for reading. Real conversation is messy, and transcription isn't perfect, so treat them as a record rather than a polished document.

No warranties

The site is provided as-is. I do my best to keep it accurate, online and working, but I can't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage arising from using — or being unable to use — this site or anything published on it.

Links to other places

Links to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, books and guests' own sites are there for convenience. I don't control them, and I'm not responsible for their content or their terms.

Changes

If these terms change, I'll update the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after that means the updated terms apply.
